Any R2 WL applicants get a call for acceptance? On the letter it says that you'll receive an update on R3 decision day, but I was wondering if like with non WL accepted candidates, they call you.

Also, does anyone have any substantial info on why Haas opened up 2 additional rounds?

Sorry to put it bluntly, but that is like hanging on to every last possibility of getting an admit. If someone didn't get the call today, it means that the person's application got denied. Based on previous posts, I don't think there is a difference between how Waitlisted and non WL candidates are informed about the admit.

By the way, I am on the same boat. Got wiatlisted in Round 2 and didn't get the call today. I have already accepted the fact that I didn't get in and I should see that rejection status online tomorrow morning.

Waitlisted again.
I was put on WL in R2 and hoped for a result in R3. But put on the list again to hold on to my snarfballs till June 29th :/
Do any seniors have any thoughts about this trend?

That is good news buddy. Good luck! This is the first time they had Rounds 4 & 5. So, this is a first that the candidates are put on waitlist even after Round 3. My gut feeling is that you might make it if they still want to hold on to your application.

I did not make it unfortunately. Got the denial update today.

I was waitlisted twice last year and got in this year. I talked to someone who got in off the waitlisted last year and they had a new recommender send a short two paragraph recommendation and slightly improved their GMAT. If you don't get in there is a 15 minute feedback session that they give which is helpful.

Any chance of taking GMAT again or GRE? Or a promotion or any positive news. Beat of luck.

Anybody still waitlisted? My Application got moved from R2 to R3 to R4 to R5 since I attempted GMAT twice. on June 29th I heard that I am still Waitlisted. What are my chances now?
