These business school apps have been taking a toll on me

Constant feelings of tiredness and grogginess, can’t even get a goodnight sleep :/

All that burden will be forgotten when the first acceptance will come your way.

Good luck 🤞🏾

Non profit yes, I am not sure what non salary means.
As long as it's full time work experience it should.
Otherwise you may mail the adcom seeking clarification

Sometimes i feel i should let this rumours float so that there will be less applications
Unfortunately there are around 104+ indians in HBS, pursuing their challenging MBA.

Is 322 a good score for an Indian non-engineer candidate? With 8 yrs of work experience
Unfortunately 340 might not be good enough to nail the HBS MBA, I am sorry to say this. India is always an over-represented demographic.
In 8-years of work experience if your career trajectory is packed with promotions, displaying leadership competencies, international exposures etc., you might be a good candidate to try HBS provided you have a score of around 333+ in GRE.

Yes maybe. This is just 25% of your overall application.

A great score will not guarantee you an admission, but a bad score will definitely be the checkpoint of rejection.

If your undergrad is engineering but your work is product management, are you still considered an engineer? Technically you are but what you bring to the table is totally different
Yes. B schools preach in inculcating the diversity in their classrooms like anything.
Expectation: a case study business problem gets a resolution perspective from a Nigerian medicine doctor, an Indian engineer and a Nepali management consultant.
So, diversity is screened at profile level and country level as well.

I saw an Indian candidate getting rejected with 740 from Insead but a different Nepali candidate admitted to the same school with just 690.

Hi everyone,

What's a good timeline to have for R1 applications? For testing, essays, LORs etc.

Hey, a friend of mine used UniAdvise and recommended me the same for my application. I booked a free consultation with them a few days back and I’ll most probably be going ahead with them. So I suggest you can check them out.
