It will be better, but you are still Indian. Too many applications from there.

Get exceptional stats and execute your application perfectly (essays, LORs, professional goals etc.)

Gotcha - I do have a strong background of theatre and volunteering so would make use of that.


Also, is it a rumor that international acads are not looked at that closely?

I know several African candidates who got in with their GRE in that range, but the rest was stellar (MBB junior EM, top schools, founder of many clubs/associations etc.).

If you have a good gpa and get that 325+ GRE, you will most likely clear the academic hurdle. But since I don’t know anything else about your profile, I cannot say it will get you through the other admission filters
