For those who got the ding, remember this and use it as motivation 2-5 years from now.

Received an interview invite. While not willing to share too many details about my profile, I will say that if you're unsure of applying given your background (business undergrad, resume material, gender, race, school prestige, etc.), you should definitely consider doing so. In my (unsolicited) opinion, many of these things can be compensated for with one's story.

In fact, I decided to apply believing there was a 90% chance I would not get an interview. I felt the experience itself - even without admission - would have intrinsic value.
