Wow I missed a lot!!

Huge congrats to the admits zoinnk, msday, cpg, etc!!!!! Absoultely amazing!!

I'm a bit surprised by the number of waitlists, its not like HBS is many peoples second choice. I guess maybe they want to take a closer look at R2? My (totally unsubstantiated) theory is that round 2 will be weaker then many schools are expecting, which could be great news for you waitlisteres. Good luck!

EDIT: egy just saw your post. Sorry man. I'm really pulling for you at Stanford.

Congrats to all of those admitted! Good luck to everyone else with their other applications!

Thank you to everyone for your kind words. I'm still kind of in shock. It's all a bit surreal right now. I received the email this morning that it was ready but waited until I met my wife for lunch at home before opening it. What a surprise! We were already planning our move to Chicago for Kellogg!

On a side note, I'm curious what happened to my Wharton app. I actually thought it was my strongest. It's odd that I get admitted everywhere else I apply, but don't even get an interview invite at Wharton. Oh well, their loss!! :)
