Wow I missed a lot!!

Huge congrats to the admits zoinnk, msday, cpg, etc!!!!! Absoultely amazing!!

I'm a bit surprised by the number of waitlists, its not like HBS is many peoples second choice. I guess maybe they want to take a closer look at R2? My (totally unsubstantiated) theory is that round 2 will be weaker then many schools are expecting, which could be great news for you waitlisteres.

I hope your theory is right (or do i ?) ..All my open apps are R2!

I am in R2. So how do the logistics work now. I mean would we receive an application complete email prior to interview invites being released ? When is an interview invite expected based on R1 Stats ?

I don't believe HBS sends out app complete e-mails.

Based on the R1 timeframe, we are expecting interview invites to go out ~1 month after the R2 deadline, so...about two weeks from now

Although since R2 has a higher # of applicants it may be a little later than that (pure conjecture).

After a small amount of digging, it seems to me that in a good year chances are about 10% and in a bad year they are 0%.
