Guys, I have an urgent question regarding the recommendation letters - is HBS SERIOUS about the 250 word-limit per question?
Compared to other schools, I feel that this gives very little space for recommenders to elaborate about the applicant and provide specific examples. After all, the 1st question only touches on how he/she knows you. The other 2 questions (with the 3rd one being most-opened) are similarly quite short. I'm drafting one for a recommender right now and having a difficult time fitting everything in the 3rd question.
For those who have applied and have drafted the letters for your recommenders - did you go over the word limit and if so, by how much do you think is acceptable by HBS?
