there are a few spoken and unspoken rules when it comes to LOR’s.
The official rule is that if not overview documents have been submitted and made available by the deadline, your application will be rolled over to the next round.
The unspoken rule is that there is leniency towards the letters of recommendation because schools realize and understand recommenders tend to be busy and there are real possibilities and life situations and so the expectations are much lower for recommenders. Some schools even have a different deadline which is a few days later.
I don’t know about HEC specifically, But if it’s a matter of a few days, it probably will be fine. If it’s a matter of a week or a couple weeks, if you preempt this with an email and explain the situation, you may be fine as well. However, these are unspoken rules to speak and in the worst case scenario, your application will be rolled to the next round.
