In the management test scores section there is option to fill either GMAT or GRE but not GMAT focus edition scores. Do we need to select GMAT and enter converted score or there is another way?

you can choose 4 options, as below:

Are you applying with the GMAT test or the GRE test?
 - GMAT
- GRE
- Executive Assessment by GMAT
- GMAT Focus Edition

Aren't these 4 options showing up in your online form?

That's strange.

This is what you should be seeing.



Maybe it's a browser compatibility issue? HEC Paris recently changed application systems. I would contact the school directly if you keep having this problem.

I saw only two options as well and submitted my scores using GMAT only. Now someone else suggested that there are 4 options, I don’t know how!?

On Sep 16, there were two options only.

Hi everyone, I’ll be reapplying for hec mba for sep 2025 intake. I previously applied for sep 24 intake and was rejected due to my gmat score. My AO told me my essays career fit and LORs indicated a perfect fit for hec and was advised to improve my score which at that time i was unfortunately unable to do.

As I have improved my score this time , do I need to change my essays and recommenders entirely? Would it seem ingenuine if I change my essays except goals essays?

I’d be grateful for any kind of help

my GMAT score was 700 (Classic). 1st interview went well, basic questions on why mba, why HEC, About HEC Campus etc.
2nd interviewer (a lady in her late 40s) seemed very much cold and disinterested , she didn't even bother to introduce herself .her 1st question was "why we are having this interview".

You can revise your essays to reflect your improved GMAT score and any new insights or experiences you have gained since your last application, and if your recommenders provided strong endorsements previously, it may be advantageous to keep them.

I don’t think that gmat score has a great incidence on application after interview, though it can be improved. Here I think it was interviews, seconde one was great but the first one was not supportive at all, postpone our interview half an hour before our meeting. Moreover, without introduce himself , he was very distant and reprimanded me on each quote that I said. I don’t know what was his value to do that anyway ...

Changing your essays won’t be seen in a negative light. In fact, it shows self-awareness and a dedication to growth. Adcoms value applicants who can reflect on their past efforts and explain how they've improved as stronger candidates.

It might not cause immediate negative effects, but I recommend reflecting on any unique perspectives or experiences you’ve had, even if they seem minor at first. Revising for clarity and impact can greatly improve the effectiveness of your essays.
