Indian Female 28
Work Experience: 6 Years
Started out as a Developmental Journalist. Worked in journalism for 3.5 years before transitioning into a more Marketing centric role. Right now working as a Content & Social Media Manager for an Indian company
GMAT: 690 (Q49,V35) planning a retake end of this month
Acads: 7.34/10 GPA B.Sc in Microbiology (Low GPA due to family health crisis)
Key career achievements:
A number of highly impactful stories that helped individuals from the grassroots gain international media limelight for their humanitarian work. Some protagonists went on to win India’s top civilian award (Padma Shri)
Have experience in exclusive grassroots reporting in 3 Indian states. Participated in regular newsroom debates, panel discussions and such.
Managed a small team of 8 young journalists while working on USA-based news
Mentored 200+ Journalism aspirants after being selected as a U-25 Youth Journalism Captain
Started two personal ventures - 1 cloud kitchen restaurant, 1 web magazine (Both didn’t work out due to COVID and lockdown)
Extra-Curriculars:
