Targetting a GMAT score of 725+.
Close to 6 years of work ex in private and government sector. Presently in a central govt service.
Can the LoRs be obtained from the people in the organisation i worked 7 years before? and also does the panel discriminate people who are from the govt. service? Is the Profile good enough for a final convert if interviews go well?

In the last few years, IIM B has always delayed R1 results by 2-3 days. So just wait and watch for now.

Profile looks good. You will have to explain why MBA very clearly and make an impressive application (plus essays, SOP) to stand out from the crowd. Considering GMAT FE, a score 725 is very very high (and seems impossible). The batch average is 700 (GMAT original) so you can target around 635 in GMAT FE.
LORs can be obtained from someone you worked with in the past. However, 7 years is too long ago to matter much now.
The panel doesnt discriminate people in Govt service, many people in government jobs apply for 1 yr programs; You just have to differentiate yourself and show your capabilities for the program.
