You are well on the higher side of the work experience accepted at IIM B so it will not be straight forward. A minimum of 675 on the GMAT is what we would recommend; needless to say, the higher the score, the better it will be.

I am also planning to take the GMAT Focus this November. Have a Work Exp of 15 years. Any guidance on the score I should target minimum
If you scored in the median range in your very first attempt and there is the possibility of an improvement, you should look at retaking the GMAT before focusing on your application essays.

While the school clearly mentions that the EPGP is for those between 5-15 years of experience, anything above 9-10 years of experience does complicate things a bit. However, this should not deter you from applying because eventually your chances depend on the strength of your overall application.

Does a high exp (around 12 years) becomes negative factor in over all applications

In IiM B yess they generally target 5 to 8. You may apply but your profile is very good for pgpx Ahmedabad. A gmat score above 635 will virtually guarantee your admission unless you bomb the interview
