Hi,

The email says that the ‘work experience certificate’ is mandatory. However, I haven’t informed my office of this application and they don’t give it out easy. Have they waived the mandate for production of the certificate before? Please let me know. I am writing to the admissions office as all.

The email said, “Work Experience certificates along with Relieving Letter/Offer letter/Pay slip/Form-16”. It felt that work experience certificate was mandatory and the other documents were supplementary. Hence the confusion. Thank you for the response.

Can someone share tips to prepare for WAT and the kind of questions that can be expected. I noticed the language of some of the previous years questions was very typical and confusing. Is that the norm?

I think they are out for all R1 applicants.
I have candidates in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore and all of them received mails at same time

Overall you seem to have a sound work experience and first hand insights into Indian manufacturing work culture. The academics are also fine. Since experience is 10+ , GMAT score will help institutions assess your current acads 'powers'. Aiming around 685 with a good interview should be enough to get you into 1 yr programmes at ABC. i will not recommend ISB for 10+ work ex

Hi Varsha0bth, You have worked both for service based and product based company. Working on SAP has its own benefit in terms of MBA placements in both consulting as well as product space, and especially more if domain has been pharmaceuticals. So overall good work profile.

The academics are decent and JLPT N1 certification is a well acknowledged achievement.

The downside is that the competition among IT applicants is high and for IIMB, your work experience is on slightly lower side. But a 655 should be enough to get you through.

Best Wishes.
