Hi etdolores, you have good acads. Sales in oil PSU is a tough job to handle, so you will get good stories from it. A score of 645 should be ok for you. Obviously target higher to be more sure. Hope it helped.

Hi Everyone,

How to deal with the problem of experience overlap in the application form?

For context, I quit my previous job in April 2022 and joined new Org in the same month and year but while putting this information in the form, it throws an error saying "the experience should not overlap"

Happens to a lot of us. It is not a big issue, just put the next month in the new job or previous month in old job. Unless you have actual overlap, it just doesn’t matter.

Sometimes increasing GMAT score is very challenging; we have helped candidates get into top 3 IIMs at much lower scores too. So a strong application and SOPs can definitely take you across and help you secure admissions.

Better to reappear and increase your chances. In any case, please be prepared with logical responses if asked about changing jobs so frequently, like 3 orgs in 6 years

GMAT score is a bit low, but you still have good chance to secure admissions. At 9+ yrs of experience, you have to show clarity of thought on why you need an MBA. Avoid generic gyaan in your SOP and ensure that you spotlight your achievements to stand out. Ultimately its all about standing out from the crowd and you can do it with a good application and Essays/SOP. Last year we helped a GEM candidate to get in at 640 GMAT score (old GMAT format), we have many such success stories.

Prepare well for the interviews, The interviews are primarily a conversation/discussion to see your fit for the program. Remember to focus on commonly asked questions (Why MBA, Why IIM B, future aspirations) and on profile specific questions (projects you have done, achievements, and anything else mentioned on your application).
