Im Planning to Apply for IIM B EPGP Round 3

Pls can anyone review my profile and also suggest , what GRE score anyone need to target for 3rd round

Academic Profile :
10th- 99.24 %
12th - 91.50 %
Graduation - 8.48 (NIT Surat Mechanical)
Post Graduation - MA Marathi - 80% (Currently pursuing 2nd year) out of interest

Work Experience (Overall 5.5 + yrs till now)

1. Jio Platforms Limited - Product Manager - Digital Health IoT Solution
2. Impact Guru Foundation (Non profit /crowdfunding)- Program Manager at CEOS’s office
3. Geliose Mobility - EV Company - IIT Delhi Incubated Startup — Product & Strategy
4. Flint energy - Smart energy- Startup - Product & Strategy

(Also , there is UPSC career break right after college )

Extracurricular:

1. National Level CANSAT- satellite making Competition - National Winner - Role Team leader
2. ABU Robocon - Team Leader for 2 years in college
3. State level Dance Competition winner
4. State level Kickboxing Competition Participation

GRE score - 309 Last month one short notice- Will retake in few weeks.

I got 314 in second attempt. Pls can anyone give me a clarity , if this score is feasible to get shortlisted in third round or not.

Hey guys, just to get a better idea, what is the average/lowest gmat focus edition score that you have seen for IIMB?

last year we worked with someone who got into IIM B at 640 (GMAT old format) score which converts to 585-595 in GMAT FE.
But of course, we had put in a lot of efforts to make a compelling story and SOP for him/her.

Could we please get an estimate of how many admits are from finance background in rounds 1 and 2 for this batch? It was minimal in 2024, but improved a bit in 2025. As the batch is still quite engineer-heavy, I’m trying to understand how finance/commerce profiles usually perform in admissions and later during placements, especially for consulting roles.

Placement is student driven; if more finance candidates are there, the college and the placecom will put efforts to place them.

has anyone in *R1 this year* received an interview invite at 317?

Last I checked and asked in this forum, nobody responded that they did at any score 320 or below.

Yes... that’s what I thought... because a candidate of mine at 317 didn’t receive the call which was a little shock looking at past record but I guess IIM-B has been more selective in its specific score requirements this year.

Although GMAT FE-615 received the invite.
