The application deadline was 31st Dec 2020 and the classes started from 24th May 2021. You may follow the LinkedIn page for all such updates :

Hi Souvik,

A detailed analysis of your profile would be necessary to understand if there are any gaps. Reputation of company is not a deciding criteria. Your job profile, your roles and responsibilities, achievements, extra-curriculars etc. play a much stronger role in your selection.

GMAT score is important, but we have seen many applicants get in even at a much lower GMAT scores. Your life story and how you present it in your application and essays/SOP is what is most important. All the best!

With every subsequent round the competition level increases, keep that in mind when you apply to later rounds. Colleges, however claim that equal number of seats are allocated in each round.

This is just basic off the bat information. There are plenty of extracurricular and volunteering activities added up as well

1) Is LOR required for IIM-I application?

Hi,

I have following query. I was going through the word file in which we have to answer the essays. For SOP word limit defined is 500 characters. However for other questions there is no word limit defined. Please guide in regards to word limit for other essays

This will have to be checked with the Admissions Office. You can call them on the number provided on the website or I will revert after checking with them.

vasuca10, I discussed with the admissions office regarding this today. They informed that there is no limit for any answer including ’SOP’. The candidates have to judge the length on their own. You can also confirm this over mail with the admissions office.

No, the last date for application to one and only round (there is no R2/R3) is 01st December.

Average GMAT score 650-660 (with top scores of 760 :)) so do the math. No idea for time required for application as I am not a current applicant. However I believe it is subjective. I have seen people doing it in hours and also people who took more than a month. Hope you get the gist.
