Hi adityatg123,

to be considered for INSEAD’s MiM program, you need to have a maximum of 2 years of work experience by the time the program starts, this is including internships.

It is not advisable to quit your job before hitting the 2-year work experience mark.

If you’ll have 3 (or close) years of work experience by September 2026, why don’t you apply to MBA programs instead?

Warm regards
Alex
Most of the M7 and T15 ask for 4 to 5 years of work experience

Was thinking of doing an MiM , working for a couple of years , getting that international work exposure and then doing an MBA when I’m 27 or 28 from a good M7 school

I did write to INSEAD AdCom

This was the response I got . They don’t have a restriction per se but he says an MBA will add more value by the time I would have accrued 3 years of work experience than a MiM

Hi adityatg123,

the 4-5 years you mention is not a requirement, but the average of the class.

Take for example INSEAD. The usual average of the MBA class is 5-6 years with the range (80% of the class) being 3-8. And the minimum number of years of work experience is 2, with some exceptions being made in very particular cases of applicants being admitted with even less than 2.

I hope this helps.

Warm regards
Alex

Hey,
I sent my official gmat scores to schools (had to pay, because I didn't avail the 5 free school option). So here we don't need to put codes to send scores right? Just put the school name and select the program? Also how will they know I have sent in my official scores, do I need to inform them or something?

Hello, would like to ask if anyone has insights & suggestions:
- i am female, southeast asian
- took my 1st GRE got 315 in total. Took second time but got lower scores.
- i have 7 years of experience in consulting and tech
- plan for post MBA is to go back to tech & develop an accelerator programme

Planning to submit in round 2 this year. With my first GRE score would it be worth the shot?

I directly submitted from mba.com. I didn’t see any option to put codes in
