Hello Everyone, I am a prospective candidate for JAN 18 batch for INSEAD. I have a GMAT score of 730. I belong to an overrepresented demographic and my GPA is not on a very bright side. I just wanted some advice on giving GMAT again. Is it worth giving it again and achieve a 20 point increase? or this would be enough. I have background in R&D for automobile manufacturing. Thanks

Hiya DingKingPin (nice name ) I think the experts over at https://gmatclub.com/forum/profile-eval ... l#p1852009 would be able to help you out much more than we could here. That being said: I've been told that after getting a 720 or 730, the returns on your effort investment drop off quite a bit and generally, time is better invested in improving your application / filling any gaps in experience or skills. If time is not an issue, or you don't see any other way to differentiate yourself from the rest of your demographic, go for it!

How long does INSEAD usually take to evaluate your application and send you interview invite email ? anyone who submitted in round 2 received interview email ? anyone else has LL as admission consultant ? those who have not heard from INSEAD regd interview, How are you all spending your time ? anxious anyone....

The interview decisions usually come out in the week before the deadline, with a few being sent out ahead of that. Haha..anxious??...ha...haa...I'm not anxious at all... I'm just burying myself in work at the moment and imagining ways that I can refresh my phone for INSEAD emails quicker

I'm scrolling through the huge post from last year's Jan intake to get a gauge for when the calls will go out. It's nice to see people also just as anxious, last year, who eventually got admitted!

yeah work is the solace.. huge pile of work i do check application status everyday too... but that seems unmoved. additionally I submitted application on last day...so 2 june it is ... fingers crossed

what do the stats reflect there ? did they all get email at the 11th hour ? from what i read, i believe the emails are sent based on regions.

The stats look like mostly 700+ GMATs, with a couple of surprises (750 GMAT being rejected w/o interview, for example). Admit calls trickled out a couple of days before the deadline, with WL emails sent at the same time. After having my interviews, I'm shocked to read that some interviews didn't last even 15 minutes Best of luck, fellow decision-awaiters
