Did any pgp applicants get interview invites today?

Just got one.

I might be mistaken here but I do remember one of the comm members said that if your profile was rejected in R1, it will still be clubbed with R2 and R3...it also kinda makes sense. For example, if the average score of profiles in R1 is 9 out 10 and for R2 is only 6/10, ISB would not want to select lower rated profiles...Would love to hear others' point of view on this

No, as per my understanding, they've a set cut off (say 8).. They would select everyone with 8 and above in any round. Now if someone has a score on the borderline (say 7/7.5) isb would waitlist them. Then if the overall cut off is decided to decrease, the wait listed guys would make the cut as per the new cut off and their evaluated scores
The final score is inclusive of the interview so there cannot be a waitlist or calls in r2/r3 for r1 candidates
Having said that, as many people mentioned, the reject mails would also be sent out and until you receive a mail of rejection, it's not right to assume yourself rejected.
This was just my understanding of the process. Correct me if I'm wrong

What you are saying could be happening if the profile cutoffs be different for different rounds. But that is not the case. Before reviewing any application, ISB AdCom decides the cutoff for that year which remains the same across all the rounds- maybe even for different batches. Everyone who clears the cutoff receives an invite. After the interview and clubbing the profile and interview scores in some ratio an overall score is arrived at. Everyone who crosses the overall profile score gets an admit, even if they have to go above and beyond their capacity. Also if there are fewer people crossing the overall cutoff ISB would let the seats go empty.

All this was shared in an info session by ISB AdCom team.

Whereas the question that remains is how is being waitlisted decided. Good question to ask the AdCom next time I guess .

I have GMAT Online Score of 710 without AWA. Took TOEFL earlier and scored 106. Should I submit my TOEFL score to ISB?

I don't think that's required. I also took GMAT without AWA.

I do not think it is required. It is only required for foreign nationals & NRIs who have been living outside for the past few years. But if you anyway want to mention it- I can see no harm. You can mail the adcom and ask too. They are the best ones to answer this.

ISB doesn’t look at AwA, no need for the extra effort.

Manan Sir, I know nobody knows this for sure. But, can we start expecting admits from next weekend?
