Hi folks, the 2022 admissions cycle was a long ordeal for a lot of us. Kudos on (trying to :)) stay sane during the process. If you didn’t make it and wish to try again this year or next, let’s first TOGETHER figure out what went wrong. I’ll be conducting 30 minute ding analysis 1-1 sessions starting Sunday for the whole week. If you’re interested, you can book a slot here. Please note that this is absolutely free. No hidden charges involved!

undergrad: 6.3 CGPA Tier 1 college engineering
12: 89%
10: 9.8/10

Moderate extra curricular and 2 fast track promotion

Should i retry gmat or gre

Since the CGPA is less and you’re coming from the ’traditional’ IT background, you should definitely reattempt the GMAT and aim for a ~40-50 point improvement. Gmat vs gre entirely depends on your liking. The school doesn’t have a preference. In addition, you can target the one-year IIM programs with a 680, slightly better chances there. Hope this helps. Cheers, Manan

Hi Wasee1512

Your academics are decent, but whether you come from a Tier1-2 college or a non-feeder academic pedigree may have some impact. I like that you work for a strong feeder brand (Amazon). You could use this to your advantage, put forth a strong professional narrative, and show a thorough understanding of suitable career options post PGP. From a first perspective, a 730+ on your GMAT scorecard would nicely complement your profile.
Feel free to reach out if you wish to discuss the specifics of your profile since you have provided only a brief description here.

Warm regards
