Is it really true that converting in round 3 is difficult as compared to round 1/2 for ISB?
I think so. There are more seats available to fill in Rounds 1 and 2 compared to Round 3

Does anyone know if there would be Round 3 this year?

I attended a admission webinar and they were saying they might not have r3 this year

For students to manage notice period/ mba finances/ geographical relocation becomes extremely challenging cuz r3 results come in feb end / march and sessions begings from apr

Thank you for the information. It looks like Nov 27 would be the final deadline to apply to ISB.

Yup. It makes sense. They also didn’t have a Round 3 last year.

They had a R3 last year. I applied to that and didnt get through post interview. I got in touch with adcom and they did mention that it might be due to less seats probably bcz 80-90% seats get filled in R1 & R2

Thanks for correcting me. I guess they didn’t announce Round 3 at least at the start of the application cycle.

but if you look at the important dates, they are mentioning R3, though dates are not announced for the same so I guess there can be a R3

as per your current workex, your total workex till March 2023 will be 24 months. So you are eligible for ISB for intake of 2023.

Hi yaygmat

The academic percentage shared are excellent and so are the achievements and Co-curricular activities. Your experience as a Lead for escalations and customer negotiations and your experience as a Project manager within less than 3 years of your work experience talks about your valuable learning at the job and the contributions you would have made.

A target of 720 will complement your already very good overall profile, concentrate on your essays, and overall application and get a strong LOR.

Team ISBMantra wishes you all the best for your GMAT exam.

In Lor for isb, my recommender wrote short answers for the questions in the end (250-300 words each) is that okay or is that a red flag?

I guess it should be find as long as the recommender addressed the questions asked. It is not really in your hands :)

The following is what I have found on the ISB website "GMAT/GRE Test Score: Provide a valid GMAT or GRE score."

ISB hasn’t differentiated the online GMAT with the test center version. So, they will accept the online GMAT scores.

It kind of depends on how close you are to your target GMAT score. Obviously the earlier the better but it should be fine as long as you take the test before Nov 27 provided you work on your applications parallely.
