Looking at this year's market scenario
Tech companies are firing
Foreign companies are not hiring due to recession fears
The startup sector is not booming

I strongly believe that placements for all MBA grads this year will not be as good as placements a year ago

ISB is 1-year course so placement would start in august I believe. Is there any option to differ admission to next year? for students who have admits

Yes once you have the admit, you can apply for deferral but you need to have a strong reason for it.

I have applied for R3 and it is showing - " Evaluation received by ISB". Is there still hope that I may get an interview call?

Evaluation received meaning your recommender has submitted the form. Until unless you get a rejection email, you hold a chance.
