Should I submit GMAT official score or Unofficial score while submiting application? Is unofficial score enough?
It doesn’t matter which score you submit
You’ll have to finally submit official score anyways. So you’ll reduce a step for yourself if you directly submit an official score

ManshaSwarup
Can i submit unoffical score report with ISB application
Yes, but later you’ll anyways have to submit your official score separately

Hi MananS4G , Will the results after the interview come on rolling basis or are they announced on the same day for all? Posted from my mobile device

Are interview offers still being rolled out for R1? (Mumbai)
Hi! So in person interviews are complete for Mumbai. Had mine on 7th and the adcom member said it clearly that 7-8 was the only weekend for in person interviews in Mumbai. If they roll out invites for Mumbai now, it should be online.

Can someone say if this is true for Bengaluru and Hyderabad as well?

Learned from a source that more invites will be rolled out for Hyderabad. Hoping the interviews are in person too because that makes more sense for Hyderabad. Unable to comment on Bengaluru.

Is there a possibility that those shortlisted for Bangalore might have to interview at other locations?

Debrief of Interview Experience of some of our clients who interviewed at Kolkata over the weekend:

Applicant profile 1: Male - 4 years of Exp. In Construction industry who wants to move to Real Estate Sales & Marketing post MBA.
• Panel asked me to explain certain stats and figures I had mentioned in the Achievements section of my application.
• Asked details of a certain technology used for conducting land / soil surveys.
• Wanted to know my motivation for pursuing an MBA right now?
• Since my current employer is also active in Real Estate besides Construction, wanted to understand if I considered a switch to RE within the organization itself.
• Since I have Master’s degree as well, they asked me the thought process behind pursuing a MS right after undergrad.

Applicant profile 2: Male - 6 years of Exp. In PE/Investment Research who wants to move to Management Consulting post MBA.
• How did I manage time between helping a startup and core work responsibilities.
• They wanted to know why I haven’t taken any compensation from the startup for the time I have dedicated to it.
• Gave me a hypothetical scenario on similar lines as my Achievements example and wanted me to share how I will make an investment decision.
• Asked me to describe how I intend to add value to the cohort based on my professional experience and personal skillsets.
• Wanted to know WHY Consulting when I am already in a lucrative industry.
• Wanted to understand how else can I reach my career gaols w/o an MBA from ISB.

Applicant profile 3: Female – 5+ years of Exp. In Software Development/IT project Management who wants to move to Product Management post MBA.
• A lot of people aim to get into PM roles post ISB. How do I believe that I will be able to secure my dream job amidst this huge competition.
• As part of ECs, I had mentioned that I am actively involved with a Book Club. Wanted to know more about what I do there.
• Gave me a scenario of a potential conflict between Engineering team and Business team before launch of a new feature in an e-com platform. Asked me how as a PM I will resolve the conflict
• Checked about my alternate career goals and my approach to achieving it.
• Had mentioned that I want to be Head of BTC club. Wanted to know how I will convince my classmates to vote in my favour.

Overall, everyone seemed to be satisfied with how the interview went.

Hello AM1413,

For your application to be considered complete, you will always need to submit your official score. Hence, you could just submit your official score rightaway.

All the best!

Guys, what do you think about applying in Round 3? I need some more time to work on my profile and GMAT.
I have heard that applying to round 3 doesn’t affect your chances but I am still not sure if that’s the case.

Official statement by ISB is that it doesn’t
Because number seats for each round are roughly more or less similar
But assuming someone with your exact profile is already offered admission in round 1 or 2 certainly affects your chances in round 3.
That being said, it won’t affect your effort but it can affect external circumstances like the ones mentioned above
All the best

Hello Himakshi2,

Thanks for your query.

The school maintains that the chances do not fall as they tend to take in an equal number of candidates in each round; however, logically speaking, if your profile is not diverse and if others with a profile similar to yours have already received offers, your chances may fall.

That said, you must only apply when you feel you have your best chance and if that means working on your GMAT and applying in R3 so be it.

Good luck!

This isn’t true for R1. Checked with 3-4 alumni and current students.

They will release all on the same day

It did say in the application portal that interview dates are given within 45 days of application submission and final result declaration is within 3 weeks of interview dates.
If it was one particular date, they would’ve mentioned the date on portal but results column still says TBH
If you’re right, I hope they give out a date soon.

That is only for non-indian passport holders.
