Hi guys! Had my interview in Mumbai today and was pretty chill I would say. Went on for approx 25 mins. So I am working in a finance background rn but was not asked even 1 qstn about my workplace experiences so I think the interviewers were not from a finance background. From what I understood, this is how the interviews literally work. First they will try to match your profile/background with that of the interviewer’s and will accordingly allot you the panel. The alums generally get the profiles in the morning to just go through them and think about the qstns they may want to ask. During the interview, they will have your application in front of them and will just scroll through it to confirm there are no conflicts between what you answer and that written in application. Again this is my view, I maybe wrong. My interview started with tell me about yourself. The qstns revolved around the extra curriculars I had mentioned in the application, why mba now, why isb, how does it align with your goals, etc. Some pointers to keep in mind - There is a 90% chance you will be asked Why isb, why mba and its relation with your goals. Here just keeping some key points in mind may not suffice, they may go in depth. Most of the people in my slot said that all the questions revolved around the application so try to have a solid backing/storyline for each and every detail in your application. In the end its just about showing a lot of confidence while you communicate. Hope this helps. All the best!
Thanks for the debrief!
