So guys, understand that there will be a lot of anxiety and confusion through the next few weeks regarding the interview process, partly because ISB isn’t as transparent when it comes to communication around the dates..
1. Attached is what the alums have received to volunteer for interviews. Last year ISB shared this on the website. This year for some reason, they have refrained from communicating clearly. Hence, there’s no choice to put this out to alleviate concerns.
2. You might get the invite
- In a large lot, without an interview date. Most likely then it’ll be as per your location and you’ll get the details 4-7 days prior
- small lots, like this one as per interview slots
- mix of both, especially for online interviews
- There could be more online interview slots beyond this in case alums don’t turn up or interviews aren’t completed within these dates
It will appear random and confusing but understand that your submission date, quality of app, online vs offline, etc have no bearing on when you get the invite
3. You might have opted for an offline interview but you might still get slotted for an online one due to logistical issues. So be prepared for that
4. You’ll anyway know when another lot is announced as someone on Gmatclub will mention it or one of the Consultants would tell you that their candidates received it. Hence, you won’t miss it.
5. Very important - don’t reject yourself till you get the rejection mail or ISB annoucnes (if they do!) that interviews are over. Till then you’re in the game.
6. Focus on your prep. That’s the most important part. You don’t want to waste your time figuring out patterns and be unprepared on d-day.
