I am a student at PGP ISB, and I have a bunch of friends here from Tier 1 and Tier 2 colleges. So no, this does not hold true.

@SssAaa from our experience of working with candidates, I can certainly state that this is not the case.
Many candidates from non IIT/NIT colleges got thru, while many from IITs/NIT did not.
So, while college reputation does play a part, it is not the be-all and end-all of the ISB process.

Hmm.. I lost hopes on ISB. Applied for ISB, Nanyang and Oxford. Rejected from Nanyang and Oxford. Despite of taking help of admissions consultant
