Adcom said the interviews will happen today and they will send out more invites and then the marketing team said results will be announced today?? come on man these inconsistencies are killing us desperate candidates who can’t focus on anything but this. This is genuinely very poor. Please just don’t be transparent about things but if you are then have consistent and accurate communication.

As a candidate who was told by plethora of consultants and alums that I have a fitting and good app for this batch, not getting an interview call genuinely makes me feel like an imposter now. But it is what it is. Hopefully you guys get the results asap and our misery also ends.

I can only imagine the emotional roller-coaster ride you’ve been through. Expected the AdCom to be more empathetic. This is very unfortunate. I’m so sorry to hear this.

It’s disheartening to witness this catastrophic failure of the top B School of India in running their operations and customer communication. This same school is supposed to "teach" business management to its students (who, by the way, are their customers). It’s quite shameful to see that this business school is being run like a typical Indian Corporate with the culture - Overcommit and Underdeliver.

Does anyone know if a similar thing happened last year too.
I just checked with a colleague who is a 2020 pass out and she said it went pretty smooth and on-time during her application.

it did? Because in the last two years.... this has been the trend

At least they should clarify if their will be any more interviews or not. Keeping us waiting is pure evil business. Changing their narratives because of this delay at our cost isn’t fair at all. I have tried reaching out to Amit, Ketan and AdCom and no luck yet.

I don’t think there will be more interviews scheduled since they are talking about announcing R1 results. However it’s complete speculation on my part

But definitely it’s ironic how mismanaged the entire process has been by ISB

Other b-schools are not any better except for IIMA. Not sure if there is something else unfolding beneath all of this.

I am assuming that there is a surge in applicants because alot of students are now inhibiting to go outside.

India has always been a major hub of outgoing applicants.

With mba in isb where you are expected to pay 50 lakhs and secure a job of 30 lpa. Plus less number of colleges, all combines to failure of students who could had gotten admits if it was 2022.

I think this is India Specific problem. There’s a LOT of demand for quality education, and very low supply. It’s is a sellers market, hence they get to call the shots and get away with providing sub-par service to their customers.

It’s not just surge in number of applications, it’s also how ISB conducted this round. They shifted their platform to sales force and i’m sure their must be a learning curve behind it as well, announcing the 2 year program and ofc this will also increase the work of the adcom. It’s just too many things going around at the same time. (plus diwali week taking time away as well) unfortunate but it is what it is. R1 applicants got caught up between this.

they literally kept communicating interviews until 25th Nov until Amit announced the results date lol. And they still are maintaining that the admission process is ongoing and haven’t formally communicated no further interviews.

Hey - does applying in R3 vs R2 significantly impact the probability of admit? ( Lesser seats available). This is true big time for Indian applicants to foreign schools. The earlier rounds have significantly higher chances. But ISB website mentions the chances are equal. Anyone knows whats the real scenario?
