With 14 yrs of work-ex, your post MBA goals and ISB’s role in helping you get there needs to be crystal clear in your application. Given you would have a lot to put in your essays, be sure about what goes in vs not. As your profile fits into the senior most range of the cohort, having a 635+ would also give you a fair chance. Hello all, can anyone confirm if there’ll be any difference in chances of acceptance between R1 and R2 rounds of applications?
Beyond the statistics at an overall level, it’s also important to know your reasoning to apply to R2 vs R1. If applying in R2 gives your profile a significant boost in some way, go for it. If not, then R1 helps keep the playing field completely open for all applicants. R2 doesn’t do much worse at an overall level in terms of admits but you wouldn’t know the data at a cohort level that’s similar to your profile.
