I tried applying to it, but don’t see any drop-down for selecting cohort, hence not able to advance. https://isbedu.my.site.com/ApplicantPor ... lerator/s/

kg3513 - your profile shows potential, given the balanced mix of academics and extracurriculars.

While the work-ex (2 years as of date) is on the lower side, a lot will depend on the quality of your experience i.e. roles, achievements, career progression (increased responsibilities or promotions), etc.

As Ashish suggested, try to improve the GRE score, as this can further strengthen your chances.

Also, any particular reason you're looking at R2 and not R1?

Feel free to reach out for a deeper chat.

Hi everyone, requesting profile evaluation + some guidance on the choice of programs.
I am general engg. male
10th - 10 cgpa cbse ~ 95%
12th - 97.6%
btech cs from tier 1 college in india - 8.78 cgpa
yoe: 2 yoe (presently), 3 years by June 2026 in a fintech mnc as engg.
GRE: 170Q 157V

academics achievements:
1. 99.9%ile in JEE
2. Merit based scholarship in btech (top 5%)

extra curriculars/pro bono:
1. actively building own initiative in creating awareness about tech industry for female youth of india (1 years)
2. volunteer for mental health organisation in college, created awareness among 1.5k+ students pre and post covid during college fest

some leadership experience in my present role (mentoring interns in case challenge)

i have questions regarding :
1. overall profile, what can i do in short time (R2 deadlines) to improve my profile ?
2. I am aiming for ISB PGP 26 intake and a bit skeptical since the class average is about 4-5 yoe and I have a bit south of that
3. Is MiM in european colleges, and MeM in US colleges a good decision (backup plan) as compared to indian MBAs (ISB and IIMs) ?

Moiraks - a career gap (especially more than 3-4 months) isn't good.

While it's understandable that juggling work and GMAT/ GRE prep can be difficult, it's something B-school applicants are expected to do.

My suggestion would be to find another role (or join back) and not have a career gap at the time of your applications.

@WA@znf186 - if you believe you can improve the score, I'd suggest going for a retake.

Ideally, the retake can be done prior to R1 deadline, but if not, applying in R2 with a stronger score is better than applying in R1 with the current score.

Regards,
Arvind | W: https://admitstreet.com/

GMAT has been a real bottleneck for me, should I target R1 with my existing score or should I keep trying for a score improvement and aim for R2?

Just one recommendation I always give: figure out the best fit consultant instead of finding out the best consultant for your applications.
