Your work-ex tenure lies close to the cohort median. Good scores and CA qualification definitely helps. Having some extracurriculars would help you differentiate your profile from other CA applicants with similar professional profile. Target 675+ to stay competitive in the relevant applicant pool. Profile evaluation and GMAT FE target
Hi everyone, sending again because I was unclear on the response given earlier.
Indian general female
Class 10- 94%
Class 12- 96%
UG- 7.07 CGPA / Tier 1 ( B.Com)
CA
CFA level 1
Work ex- 3 years currently (at kotak alternate asset managers)
Wanted help on these questions as well:
1. What may be my target GMAT score
2. Which round should I ideally apply in?
3. how will taking a break from work impact my application
You should target 675+ for a female CA with 3+ yrs of experience. If you need time to prepare for GMAT or get the desired target score, you can push the applications to R2. Otherwise, if there are no dependencies, go for R1. While taking a break by itself shouldn’t be a problem, what matters is the reason (its genuineness) for the break, duration of the break etc. Feel free to connect with us at Preppie (
https://www.preppie.in) to discuss any specific aspects of your profile in greater detail.
