Hello, does anyone know when can we expect the interview invites for R1,
A little info. Have already applied for R1 (application completed), have chosen the online mode for my interview.

The reason I am asking is when should i start preparing for my interviews, would be a bust to start and then not get an invite in the first place. :D

Also, I had if anyone wants to connect for gmat prep. I can help having gone through the exam twice.

Is the advantage of applying in R1 significantly more than R2? I’m wondering if I should rush to meet a deadline right now or take the time and apply in R2 with more prep and peace of mind..

I would suggest you start now. Have a positive attitude abt the interview and go for it. If you do get a call you will be better prepared. If you don’t get a call, you’ll be better equipped for future interviews. But this is me being positive and hopeful for you.. Good luck and hope you get through!

There is no difference in applying to R1/R2. Apply when ready. This is one of the most frequently asked questions in my road shows as Director of Admissions at ISB. This is true not only for ISB but also for any global B Schools. I strongly recommend applicants not to apply with a weak application. Please do not submit half baked application. Best of luck ...Manish (Founder - TutelageX) | Linkedin: http://www.linkedin.com/in/manishmishraisb | http://www.tutelagex.com

Why ISB is not here??
Because ISB offers MBA and not MiM. Globally, the definition of MiM is it is for freashers and upto 02 years of work experience whereas an MBA is typically around 5-6 years. Hope this clarifies. Expect this within a month or so, however better to start prep now as you wont get more than 5-10 days time. Best of luck ! Manish Mishra - Founder - TutelageX | http://www.tutelagex.com

If you are interesting to the interviewer, then your interview will be longer, whether in-person or virtual.

SO stay interesting during the interview 😀

I applied to isb last year but was waitlisted after the interview. Then I had to urgently leave for out of country project for my company and it would hv not been possible for me to join if selected so i withdrew my application in December only. I mentioned this to them at that time. Anyways so should i reapply this yr? Won’t the withdrawal be taken in negative sense? And if i do apply should I mention in my application that i had to withdraw for so and so reason?

for people who opted for virtual interview, would those interviews be conducted every week, or will it be conducted once all the offline interviews are concluded?
