Hey,
Your education journey stands out: from a strong BE performance to graduating with a stellar 9.89 GPA from IIT Bombay, and even receiving the Institute Silver Medal these are major academic highlights that reflect both capability and discipline. With 7 years of experience in environmental consultancy and sustainability, you also bring a niche and highly relevant background, which ISB values, especially given the rising focus on ESG and sustainability-driven leadership.
That said, your current GMAT mock score of 605 may not fully reflect the strength of your profile. To remain competitive in ISB’s Round 1, you should target a GMAT Focus Edition score of 685+, ideally 700+. This will help reinforce your academic rigour and keep you above the average benchmark, especially for someone applying with 7 years of experience. You still have time till July a focused prep sprint can definitely close that gap.
