Hi everyone!
Can someone shed some light on the on-the-spot essay we’ll have to write on the interview day? What kind of topics are usually given, and any general writing tips or do’s & don’ts would be super helpful.

Also, if anyone has recommendations for good interview preparation resources — mock platforms, question banks, or sample answers — please share!

I switched jobs 4 months ago and would prefer to submit an LoR from my previous role, does that have a negative effect? Does it have to be an LoR from your current employer? For some added context I worked at my previous firm for ~3 years and have better relationships there.
It doesnt matter where you get LoR. It should just meet the criterion that the recommender knows you reasonably well. Feel free to ask ISB. During my stint as Director of Admissions at ISB, we made sure that a deserving applicant should not suffer because of a recommender. There are many students who face such problems and as a policy we have ensured that genuine request are attended to, even if it requires some exception. Best wishes! Hi, I wanted to check if I’d be eligible for the Young Leaders program given my situation. I’m currently at the end of my second year and planning to resign, which would mean serving a 3-month notice period. This would put my total work experience beyond the specified cutoff. Could you clarify if I’d still be eligible?

Any reason why you are not interested in PGP?

Since I barely clear the cutoff I think the YL program would be much more logical for me to apply for. Other than that no reason

Hi animibeatae,

If your work experience is beyond the specified cutoff, you will not be eligible. You should apply to the PGP.

Thanks.

All the best!
