Hi Pallavi
You seem to have a solid profile, considering your work with CXO level executives.

Your work place cairn oil also differentiates you.

BITS pilani provides you good affiliation and sets you well apart from many others.

I think you have no reason to doubt. Thread your story coherently around the career breaks and specially about resuming work

All the best!

Reach out on DM if you need any guidence 🙂

Hi atdoloribus,

Considering your work experience with the likes of PwC and KPMG, leadership potential, experience with international clients, and a fast track promotion, you have, practically, everything it takes to put forth a strong application.

At this point, your only focus should be on how you will consolidate the strengths in your profile and link it up with your need for PGP and future goals. In short, the essays will be very crucial. Give them your all..

We encourage you to inquire with us so we can schedule a free strategy session for guiding you.

Thanks and all the best!

GMAT (Focus Edition): 675
Undergrad: B.E. in Computer Science (CGPA: 7.04)
Work Experience: 4 years
• 1.8 years at Oracle as a Developer
• 2.2 years running my own F&B business — currently profitable with a 30% month-on-month growth and strong customer retention
Took an 8-month break while pivoting the business model, which is now performing well and expanding steadily.
My career goal is to deepen my understanding of business and build a strong network that can help me scale my venture further.
Would love to hear your thoughts on how competitive my profile is and what I could do to strengthen it further.

Any specific reason you are willing to pursue MBA by leaving a business that is growing at 30% month-on-month TonyStark98?

I’m not leaving the business but I see an MBA as a way to take it from growth to scale. I’ve built it from the ground up operationally, but now want to strengthen my understanding of finance, strategy, and leadership, and build a network that can help me scale sustainably.

Not understanding this. PGP is a fulltime program and so, I am not sure how one can continue working in that duration.

Are you applying to some other program?
