That technique is more harmful than useful. The right way to approach the essays might be through frameworks and brainstorming your past stories. Let me give you an example

At MBA Conquerors, I’m sure you must have seen the free DIY pages already where we use TV Characters as examples to show how the essays might look like. Here’s how we went about it-

1. Rachel Green: Self discovery story in essay (finding herself)

2. Michael Scott: Creating a culture that’s dynamic and collaborative (more people oriented- very difficult to see through all the fluff)

3. Chuck: Story of finding his motivation to protect those that can’t protect themselves (Essay follows a life of twists and turns)

4. Mike Ross: Soul-less storytelling with AI to show what not to do

5. Jay Arondekar: Leading a life by finding purpose

6. David Schitt: Having an eye for quality and excellence (used for Rotman Spike factor essay)

So you can see the storytelling can really vary based on personalities and I’ve done the essays for all of those at MBA Conquerors with examples and commentary.

Not sure if the other essays you’ll see for successful candidates will help you get a full picture of their life. Why they wrote what they did etc

I have done my research and have shortlisted 2 options. 1) Strategy4GMAT 2) Sarthak Verma’s Career Edge. Please help me make a decision. (You are most welcome to give alternate suggestions apart from these 2 options.)

Not sure about these two...but I heard good reviews about ISBeacon from my seniors and will be going ahead with them IF I get a good GMAT score. Am currently preppng.
