You have a decent headroom from 675 to 715+ and there is a fair bit of time left till R1 deadline so I would definitely recommend you to re-take the exam. Just ensure that the re-attempt doesn’t eat too much into your application prep time. Wishing you the best!

Given the school evaluates every application & profile holistically, we can’t call any score independently as safe or good enough for ISB. However, as you scored similar to your mock performance, I wouldn’t recommend a re-attempt. Instead focus your energy on building the right narrative for your application. Your academic score and SRCC background helps but it would be extremely crucial to clearly explain your role in the current family owned firm and how that translates into the goal of getting into consulting. As "consulting" is one of the most nebulous and popular goal mentioned by applicants, the school looks for clarity of thought here. To further differentiate your profile, be sure to include learnings from your UPSC journey in your application.
