Manisha_1991, Any source of this info? R1 waitlisted candidates were told that their results will be announced by April 20th. No communication has been made so far that the deadline is pushed to may 15th.

Hey folks!

I was an R1 waitlisted candidate, and it was a 5-month wait until the admit came.

My two cents: It's true that the wait is long and it's easy to speculate. Just hang in there and hope for the best - you'll do big anyway.

I am not part of the admissions committee, but DM if you want to talk it out. Feel free to DM about other admits from Indian B-schools through CAT and if you need help in deciding.

Yes seems so.

Also last year a lot of movement on waitlist would have happened because of huge number of deferrals. For us the chances are bleak.

For us waitlisted folks, they should give us guaranteed admission next year :Phad there not been 250-300 deferrals from last year, we would have definitely got an admit this year :)

Hi All,

R1 waitlisted candidate here. I wanted to ask a couple of things:

1. Are all R1 results out? Does being on R1 waitlist this late mean rejection?
2. When can we expect the final admission results for R1 waitlist? Some people are saying April 10th, others April 20th and yet others May 15th. My official mail from ISB said April 20th.

BlandRhetoric, 1. There has been no movement in any R1 waitlisted candidates. So it’s not that you are out bcz there hasn’t been any update yet. 2. As per official mail from adcom results will be announced by 20th April. There has been no further official communication regarding change of timeline from adcom so rest other things are speculation

Hi django, thanks a lot for your reply. I saw on the other topic "Calling all ISB PGP Applicants - (2021 Intake) Class of 2022" that some R1 Waitlisted candidates got their confirmed admits on 13th March. Is that confirmed or has there been no movement?

And you'rre right, speculation will only lead to further anguish.
