Hey Melodania,
Because the interview is "fit" style, it is pretty relaxed and friendly. The best that you can do is to do as much research on the program as you can, and to find common ground between yourself and what you think the principles of the program are. Personally, I think I fit well with the synergistic team learning approach that Rice strongly values. There are many opportunities, and from what I have been told, it is a big plus if you show that you have done your research into Rice. Since I am a student here, I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have about Rice (or at least point you in the right direction).

Hey texigan, thanks for that. Im still waiting for a confirmation on my interview schedule, as I opted for skype,and they take upto 3 working days to finalize on it.
I did do a lot of research on the school before and during my essay writing. Tried to reflect a lot of that in my essays as well. But since second year Rice students do the interviews, I believe they have access to just our resume(and not the essays, recos etc) before the interview. So it would probably serve me well to go over my essays in detail again, to help showcase my fit best. I better get down to it. Thanks for your help again, and I will surely get back to you if I need anything..Cheers!
