Guess they will advise you to patiently wait. LOL.

I think they will release admit without money first then admit with small money, finally the big rewards.

If I am admitted without $, I won't go.

Interesting idea. What makes you think they would release in this order? I wouldn’t it make more sense to do the opposite?

Guess in the first 2 rounds, they will do the opposite, which will positively strengthen their recognition of strong applicants in the first time. Because people will have more options to compare and finally pay the deposit. However, in the r3, the pool of applicants would be different from r1 and r2. AO would balance more on money, enrollment, and candidacy.

@Kepler97, i appreciate the note but it is tricky as the timelines arent helpful for international applicants with visa accomodation and flight tickets going higher and with bigger tense every day. I have another school deposit to consider too and don’t want to push that forever

I got into questrom (R2) but rejected due to low scholarship and it wasn’t worth the investment in my book there.

I got waitlisted in Olin and Rochester. Doubt there will be movement there.

I got into Birmingham in the UK. Most likely would tap into that as my deposit deadline is coming up.

Hey folks, I got into Georgetown without scholarship. I am waitlisted by Rice, Tepper, Simon and Owen as well. Out of these, I am most hopeful to convert Rice and hope to attend it if i get a scholarship. But they are taking so long and I already paid my deposit to Georgetown. Should I proceed with Georgetown or should I wait for Rice? Also Are Georgetown and Rice similar objectively for consulting opportunities?

Both business schools are brilliant. You don't have to be bothered much.
Just from my perspective, Rice would be better for consulting career, especially for MBB.
