same, going to see till last minute. might just re-apply to europe. seems very random of whos getting affected, dont know how opt will get affected and internships.

How do you think about deferral?

Not sure if Rice will be granting those I was reached out by about 4 people who are trying again next year. Considering the employment reports and the trends going on at T30s, people don’t want to be in the 25% who are not employed post graduation (higher for internationals- who have to return to their home country) Going on even partial debt is a problem for some people as post-return pay off is not just hard, it’s bad enough to starve one. But not all cases have to be the same was Way*

Actually, I don’t think it’s different next year unless you switch to other countries

The people who are deferring are obviously trying to aim for slightly higher ranked institutions one last time. The employment situation is gonna be a major problem regardless (I’m anticipating next 2 years to be touger for international students) Tougher*

I have applied to RICE in round 3, have completed my VA on 15t March, still heard nothing about the admissions even after todays decision date of 21st April. when i contact the adcom they say my application is under review. What do you gys think is it a watleist or i should look for other schools considering i am rejected here, please advice.
