Just a guess again, but it looks like the strongest candidates had their apps updated yesterday or midday today. The weaker applicants (myself included) saw their apps updated this morning.

Just for more speculation
I don't think Kellogg will extend offers to HBS and GSB people. There's a reason why Kellogg has such a high yield rate.
And I think a lot of those have not had updated dates.

What's their yield? I don't think they can tell who HBS is going to admit, then not admit them. That would be making things much more difficult then needed. Has that been shown in the past that people get rejected from Kellogg but in at HBS? I think they just take the best people that they want.

Seems like that was a very sudden change for everyone which pretty much validates the pooling theory.

And it was a ton of updates at once, so I don't think it in any way points to an admit.

My theory:

Update yesterday, none this morning = admitted
Update yesterday, update this morning = waitlist
No update recently, update midday today = denied

I'm just basing this on how strong the candidates seemed in each pool (GMAT, GPA, where they got interviews, where they got admitted, etc.)

Who is in the admitted group on here? Hanging here in the WL group which I was anticipating so that could be plausible.

I've been 11/25, 12/11, and 12/12 (midday).. Not sure what that makes me according to that theory? lol

It' means you have been admitted. Congrats! lol ....

I agree with the last wave of dates being dings - esp with no other date changes and the fact that today is Friday.

I don't know whether I agree to your theory or not because I belong to the last category :-D but one thing seems sure that everyone's fate is sealed now.
