Does everyone else's application just say:

"Status: Submitted"

I assume that's the standard as long as all the other requirements have been met until they start announcing decisions right?

Why wouldn’t the school communicate the rejections sooner? If they decided they won’t accept certain students what is stopping them to send denials

Additionally, is there a waitlist concept for PT applicants?

Students have been waitlisted in the past and students do get accepted from the waitlist.

Also, there was a post asking if PT students get acceptance calls. They did before (at least until April). I guess now its all email notifications due to the large volume of applicants.

I can attest to the fact that my interviewer told me that they probably won't call, but everyone will get emailed or receive a portal update due to the influx of applicants this round.

If you get an interview waiver does the application show a green check mark? or does it show Awaiting Interview?

Did anyone recently receive their evening/weekend accelerated eligibility decision? I submitted the eligibility form for the accelerated program back on April 22 and just received a decision. I submitted my app May 4, so I’m presuming they’ve already started reviewing. Just confused as to why I received the accelerated eligibility decision so much later?

It says: “We have reviewed your form submission and you have met three of the four requirements and are eligible to apply to the Accelerated Option”

I believe it is handled separately and independently. For my request, they took around two weeks time to respond. Afterwards I submitted my application.

This is also probably a good sign for you if they are telling you that you qualify for the accelerated program.

Idk if it’s a bad sign. I guess it just goes to show how swamped they are trying to review as many forms as possible. I submitted mine over a month ago and just heard back so I’m sure they’re still trying to get through all of them

I just call them for a status update. They explained that at the time of my submission they received a significant amount of eligibility requests and applications (we all know this). I was told that I should get a notice of their decision for eligibility in the next few days or I'll find out both on the 29th. If I am eligible for the accelerated program, my application will be updated to reflect the eligibility.

Just got an email saying that decisions will be released on May 29th and a few other reminders. I imagine this email went out to all applicants. My stomach dropped when I saw the subject line thinking I was rejected lol.
