I applied 5/4/20. Did not submit a GMAT, but they were somehow able to pull my initial practice test I took in 2018 without me submitting a score to them in the system with my 5/4 application (I had honestly forgotten that I sent the scores there back in 2018, and was assuming my application would be submitted without a GMAT score). Interviewed on 5/13. Received a phone call today, but missed the call due to leading a meeting (womp womp). Called back once the meeting ended at 4:00 CST and left a voicemail for the caller.

They voicemail they left me said it was to discuss my application status. Call came from a 312 number (Google of the name of the caller pulled up someone from Northwestern per LinkedIn). I have my fingers crossed for some good news, but remaining practical that it could be to request more documentation for my application.

Edit 1: clarified what I meant about GMAT above. I took a test for my own practice in 2018, and must have added Kellogg as a school to receive scores.
Edit 2: I applied for the PT Evening program.

To follow up on this -- I received the call this morning, and was admitted to the evening program! Would love to connect with the rest of you that were accepted as well.

I'm in state, by the way (live in downtown CHI).

And my status still hasn't updated in the application portal, despite receiving the phone call. They said I should get an email by later today, though.

It looked like yesterday there was only 1 admit for evening, possibly 2 counting the person who missed the call. But the majority were weekend. Do we think there will be more calls today? Do we think many of the evening admits haven’t been made yet?

I believe evening admit call day is today. In coming days waiting list for summer, and admits for Fall.

That's interesting- I didn't realize they WL for the EW program. I've also wondered if they might admit some people who applied to summer quarter-- but for a fall start- simply due to the high application volume. Just curious was that confirmed by adcom? Or just speculation? I guess anything is possible in this environment! lol

It seems like there has been no activity yet today, at least amongst people following this forum :/ hopefully this afternoon. Or heck, I’ll patiently wait until Friday as long as there are still admits to be made and they weren’t all made yesterday :/ it seems impossible they were all made yesterday though, especially with so few Evening admits.... praying.

I had sent an email inquiring about my admission decision and I just received a response that says there will be additional admissions decisions released on Friday.

I wonder if the people admitted were like the “definites” - they had very high GPAs and some had GMAT scores anyway. But admissions is still in the process of making final decisions on everyone else...?

I just called and they said everyone will get a decision by Friday - which to me just sounds like you wait until Friday to find out you’re rejected. I asked if decisions will be made throughout the week and she said yes but definitely sounded vague and like she didn’t want to give away too much information.

Definitely didn’t get a positive vibe from the call I guess, I’m thinking because she knows they already made most admits. Really not sure if I’m over analyzing it though haha.

Seems like no activity has happened today, and based on the other persons post plus the sheer numbers of admits so far (despite most people who applied aren’t on this forum) there are definitely some more admits to come, even if most were already made yesterday. So guess we will have to continue being patient and must remain optimistic!

If they had all decisions already made, I can’t imagine they’d wait until Friday to reject people left. They’d just do it now so they could stop getting emails and calls hahaha. It must be that all decisions haven’t been made and they’re still reviewing.

That seems very inefficient to still be making final decisions on candidates. I think all admits were made yesterday with a two day period to accept. Anyone that does not accept, Kellogg may or may not try to fill the spot. That being said, for those that are definitely a "no", why not just let them know?

Where did you get information about a 2 day acceptance period? I think they usually give a week or two which would fall after 5/29.

But I agree - I’ve waited 6 weeks (it’ll be 6 weeks tomorrow since I interviewed). It would suck if it’s a rejection and I should have been studying for gmat/gre to apply elsewhere. But normally they made decisions in 2 weeks so I decided to wait, which is looking more and more like a stupid decision.
