I wasn't even going to bother about checking my application status till mid march. But this week I started visiting Gmatclub and business week again. And I noticed Kellogg had sent lot of dings.

so out of curiosity, I checked and I have been waitlisted. Pretty disappointed. I would have thought they would release waitlists close to the deadline.

Anyway, I had applied to only 2 schools, so looks like I will be heading to INSEAD. Though I would have loved to go to Kellogg :(

Sorry to hear that mst, good to know you have another admit to fall back on. @River, it is a tough tough decision, some days I am all about "Team Fuqua", some days I am drinking the Kellogg Kool-Aid . The saga continues ...

A WL already? Wow thats a big change from last round, WL didnt go out for a long time. Best of luck getting off the list.

On a completely different note I finally got all my tax stuff taken care of and completed the FAFSA. According to the government I can afford to pay for my entire education HAHAHA ya right. How the heck is that going to happen. I couldnt even afford it when my wife and I both are working let alone when she is supporting us.

I cant believe they know you are going to be a fulltime student but dont factor that in. I mean my living expenses are going to be offset by the Mrs. income but how can like 50% of our combine take home at this point be available to pay for school. I hope Kellogg is good about signing off on loan amounts.

You've sold it already? How about you riverripper? What's the market look like in your area?
My discount mortgage is due to expire this summer, so i'm going for a 2 year discounted interest only mortgage so i can increase cash flow during my studies.

Fellow R2 applicant here! Is there anyone else who interviewed back in 2007 and is still waiting to hear a decision? My application has been complete for a while as I submitted Part II in December and nothing so far...this has been the longest wait ever!

What are your top ones? My top 4 are: Argentina, Croatia, Turkey, and Gallapagos.

I would say its amazon and galapagos tied for #1. Then Egypt and not sure after that. I have been to Greece before but my wife likes that and Thai Land sounds cool but thats a lot of time zones so jet lag will be an issue coming back right before school starts.

Yah - I'm hitting up Thailand and Greece (as well as a ton of the other trip locations) as part of my pre-Kellogg trip. Galapagos sounds awesome - so many sweet options to choose from.

Unlucky Sperinko... Where else are you waiting for replies?
NUS no longer the favourite of my admitted choices now, mainly because of the poor impression i'm getting from the current students.
