Just had my interview last night with an alum. I think I must be a rambler or something because in an hour we really only got through 5 or 6 questions or so, e.g.
-Walk me through your resume
-Why have you made the career choices you did
-What clubs would you join at Kellogg
-Talk about a time where you worked on a team and encountered issues
-Talk about another team-based challenge you faced
-Where else are you applying
my interviewer has lived all over the place, Europe, South America, North America, Asia, you name it. He also brought an article about the school for me to read beforehand which I thought was interesting.
Overall I'd give my interview with him an 8 out of 10 (compared to Wharton/Duke which Id give 7s and Columbia which I'd give a 9.5). My main priority of the interview was to make clear to him the things that differentiated Kellogg from the other schools I applied to and feel I did a pretty good job of that. Anyway, finally done with interviews, I'm thinking some funky facial hair or a tattoo may be in order.
