Just got the rejection e-mail. Fairly dejected at this exact moment since this was where I really (REALLY! REALLY!) wanted to go. But since I feel like I've benefitted from the site without ever posting, felt like this was as good a time as any for the inaugural post.
Not sure if this helps anyone, but here is my profile: GMAT 720, 3.3 GPA from Top 25 school, 30 yrs, nontraditional background (non-prof), US applicant.
Also got rejected from Booth without an interview. I was going to apply R2 to Wharton, but now I wonder if there's much of a point. I'd imagine if I can't get an interview at Booth, and can't get on a waitlist at Kellogg, that applying to Wharton is kind of idiotic. Was also thinking Duke or Yale for R2; now those also seem like stretches. Just wondering whether constant rejection is even worth it.
