Hi
To all those who interviewed for Kellogg, before scheduling the interview do they ask for the resume? Or am I supposed to send the resume to the Interviewer?
Thanks

You're supposed to send your resume to your interviewer, atleast a few days before the interview. You can do it after you get the interview match letter from Adcom.

Ari123, it depends on the interviewer. My interviewer responded to my initial e-mail setting up a time and place, and asked me to send her the resume beforehand. If your interviewer doesn't suggest anything, I would recommend offergint to send it along eletronically before the interview (it is only to your advantage to give teh interviewer time to review it). In either case, take a physical copy to the interview!

can anyone substantiate if kellogg how to get feedback from kellogg? how are reapplicants treated at kellogg?

No feedback given at all. I was WL'ed last time and tried retrieving feedback, saying I'm gonna apply again and feedback will help, but they won't budge on that.
I have heard that reapplicants are favored at Kellogg. Will know very soon if that's true.

I've read somewhere, (not exactly sure if it was this years stats or last years) that reapp admit rate is 37%, which is pretty good.

Hi
I am an R2 applicant. i see no place for uploading the resume in the Part 1 of the application. Does the part 1 not ask for resume. Or am I supposed to submit the resume with part II? Thanks

You can upload resume with Part2. Part 1 does not have resume upload. But when called for interview, you have to send the resume to either the Adcom( if on campus) or to the Alumni( if off-campus).

A lot of people with very good profiles have got dings, like highhopes and Deepauk. Hope everyone who got dings get to their other choice schools.

And good luck to everyone else ( including me :| ) waiting for the decision.

R1 - Admitted on Wednesday afternoon to the 2-year MBA program (Interviewed on campus on November 9). Did not post earlier since I was convinced I was just having a mid-day hallucination. A huge thank you to all of you on this forum that helped me with this process. After what seems like a track record of rejection to me, this acceptance undoubtedly makes life's prospects appear slightly brighter.

R1 guys, I've got a couple of questions,

1) In the extra curricular section of Part-I, you have to mention the activity, from and to dates, and hrs/week. I'm currently involved in all the activities and have not discontinued any. What dates do I mention in the 'to' column ? the current month and year?

2) I'm a little bit confused as to who is the 'most recent employer'. Which order have you guys followed while entering the work experience?

I see that in the page1 of Part I, they ask your current employer and career goal etc. In page 4, they ask your full employment history beginning with most recent employer. Does this mean we don't have to enter the present employer?

Thanks for your help

Answers to your questions as per how i had completed the application.

1) For the extra curricular section, i left the 'to' column as empty if i am still involved in those activities. I think that is fine.

2) I think i mentioned my full employment history starting with my present employer, and i believe thats what Kellogg expects in the employment history page.

Hope that helps

so far, this has been the hardest application. i don't like broad questions, and besides the first essay, i feel like all of their essays are just too broad in scope. this is taking me forever to write

for essay 3, did you all find ways to introduce new information not found in your essays by taking the assumption that your evaluator has your resume and interview notes?

Hi
I need a little help with filling the part I of the application. What would be the industry for someone who works in software companies such as IBM or Google or HP. There are four options: 1) software/printing/publishing and 2)Communications/Information Technology, 3)Computer related services, 4)Computers/cons/Elec. I am writing option 1 that is software/printing/publishing but I am not sure why they added printing and publishing in the same group. Thanks in advance.

If you can make the on-campus one, I would go with that.
