It was January 23. An alumnus interview. :)

International applicant from Asia.
And I'M IN!!!
(M/720/3.2/WE 7 yrs/Finance/CFA)

Due to time difference, instead of calling me, an Adcom staff kindly left the email at 5:00 am (2:00 PM CST).
The title of the mail was "Congratulations." How sweet~.

I'm a very relaxed person, but, this whole week, I woke up in the night several times to check the Kellogg website.

Wish a good luck to all those still waiting!!

Congrats :)
Can i ask when did you get interviewed?

Historically can kellogg accept someone who got an interview waiver without sending out a phone interview?

I'm asking cuz this is my situation, and common sense says if i'm a clear "ding" why didn't they ding me from day 1?

I think I read in one of the chat transcripts that 100% of the admits WILL BE interviewed

Both types(fixed and rolling decisions) have their pros and cons. But I hate the latter.

In your case, how do you know that your app is reviewed?? May be they've not

Just found my DING from Kellogg. No e-mail yet, but found out via the status page. The letter was actually dated March 12th (Friday). Good luck to everyone else!

I have a theory about people (like me) who are receiving their decisions 'later'. I think it is because I self-reported my GMAT scores rather than submit an official GMAT Score Report. Can anyone confirm?

We weren't required to submit our official score reports... right??

Should I have sent one in? I remember the application said something about a delay but I am unable to check because the system is closed. But, it didn't say we needed to submit official score reports.

Still waiting for my decision, and I submitted both my official and self-report GMAT scores.

I'm an international, and I Interviewed with alum in my country late January.

I'm pretty sure we need to send official score reports...

Their site says "Candidates must request that scores be sent to Kellogg."

You do NOT need to send in a copy of your official score report with your application until you are accepted. (You DO need to list Kellogg as a recipient of your score report when you take the GMAT though!) This has no bearing on when you receive a decision notification (accept/deny/WL). As a R1 waitlister, I can only add some commentary to mitigate your worries. As the round progresses through the notification window period, I noticed that the decisions tended to be more admits and more waitlist, fewer dings. Dings tended to occur in higher proportion towards the beginning of the notification window period.

Some of the very late accepts were accepts with $$, though that was more of the exception than the rule. The majority of us who were biting our nails til the end of the window received a WL decision. Hope that helps shed some insight into what happened in R1, which may or may not extrapolate into R2! Take with a grain of salt :)

I still have not received a decision and I took the GMAT in November so there was no delay in submission.

We did not have to send the official report. We had to declare on the application and then optionally upload a jpg to help them speedup the process. I did not upload the copy because I did not have one with me at that point. I haven't heard back either.
