Just submitted! I guess the waiting game begins.

They say it could take 6-8 weeks to hear about the off-campus interview, and it's only been about 2 weeks for me since I submitted part 1. If November rolls around and I still havent heard anything, then I might worry.

Good luck everyone!

LOL!

Been away the last couple of days due to the double deadline and work related travel. Just turned in my Part 2 and am officially in for R1. Good luck to all the people submitting in the next few days and those who've already interviewed. Will be calling the admissions office today to figure out what is up with my interview!

Congrats...from my experience last time, the alum called me and suggested an interview within the next 3-4 days..so if you don't have any other schools lined up, you should get into interview prep mode right now.
I'm still doing Essay 3, and looks like I'll make full use of the time allotted till 11:59CST tomorrow.
good luck

I asked this a few posts back, but I didn't get any reply. Apologies for asking again -

I have my interview set up for Oct 21st with an Adcom who is flying into my city for two days. Would it look bad if I ask to cancel and reschedule with an alum? Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I would try and leave it as is, unless you feel really strongly about not being ready enough for the interview :)

Hey guys,

Does Kellogg allow a recommender to simply submit a normal LOR? I'm nervous because my reviewer mentioned that he finished my letter for Kellogg but didn't mention having to complete the form or anything...hopefully it forces you to do so and he didnt just simply submit a normal letter...

I had the same thing, and then I was kicking myself for signing up for the interview. Although I don't think it would really affect anything since most likely that same adcom wouldn't remember you when time to review your application, I would still say you should go through with it. It's only a week out, and I think if I was an adcom I wouldn't be too happy that I had an extra hour to sit around because someone cancelled..

Hopefully you can get your company to send you to egypt on a last minute business trip, that would be a great excuse ;D

Did you send him a link to the LOR form? If you notified him through the Kellogg system he probably did fill out the Kellogg comprehensive form. Not to worry.

GoBruins/TheDream - thanks for your response!

I agree, I think I'll go ahead with it. I was eager to get the interview out of the way but now I wish I had more time for it - hope it doesn't hurt me. I have Haas' application due on the 20th as well.

Thanks guys!

So, random thought ... but has anyone else found that they're severely lacking motivation at work now ? I'm so preoccupied with interview prep that I spend time at work rehearsing and reading from my interview prep material ... lol
