@riverripper @ Jerz I received a waiver on 17th Nov, and i heard on another forum that a bunch of people received an invite for the tele interview yesterday....and obv i didn't Could you please clarify what this means...have they sent out all invites now??

I went with 3rd person on essay 3. I felt that it would really put me in the mindset of "why would I really want this bozo in my class?" Depending on my mood, I either think it's really cheesy, or really good the way I wrote it...

Someone received a telephone invite...? hmm...

To be honest, nobody except the adcom knows how many people will get invites to interview by phone, or how many may be left. I do know from my application experience that the internet is filled with all sorts of bad information and rumor about admissions decisions and timing, so it's really not a reliable source to try and predict what is going on with your application.

Just got off the phone with the adcom (to schedule phone interview). Since I had to go with the interview waiver, the adcom sent me an email (email received this morning) that someone from the adcom will interview me over the phone. Phone interview pending. We'll see what happens.

Argh! Got an email from the adcom about a student event in my city! I saw Kellogg and wishfuly concluded it was a phone interview BTW congrats Mohater and good luck on the telephone interview.
